Love Makes A Family "Legally" In New Hampshire!
Manchester, New Hampshire - Governor John Lynch (D) signs the revised marriage equality bill into law making the the Granite State the 6th state to do the right thing by recognizing and protecting all of it's families.
The bill which had passed prior by the House and Senate had been vetoed by the governor due to it lacking in "protections" for religious institutions.
Even though this bill is a victory for New Hampshire's LGBT, let it also be a reminder of how strong and dedicated we must be in continuing the fight for our civil rights and liberties because overall, the fight is far from over!
Marriage Equality for New Hampshire will officially begin January 1st, 2010.
Standing up (ok, sitting down) for our rights!
Keep a smile on your face and love in your heart!
