Illegals In California "More Right's Than LGBT Families"

LGBT Families Have Their Right's Taken Away While Illegals Who Break the Law Are Rewarded...

The Great Seal Of The State Of California logotype
If this doesn't cause more anger in California and the LGBT population, I don't know what will.

The San Francisco D.A.'s office is under fire for a program that rewarded illegals who committed a crime and then underwent a job training program (in which they should not/or could not LEGALLY work at) to have their criminal records expunged.

Meanwhile, the "good citizens" of California voted to take away the rights (backed by the California Supreme Court) of legal U.S. Citizen taxpayers of their home state while the illegals have more rights and protections!

Yet Another "Sanctity Of Marriage" Christian Goes Down In A Blaze Of Glory!

Hooray For The Hypocrite "Protecting" Marriage!

FILE - In this April 3, 2009 file photo, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford fields

*** Update 6/25 - This is the same fucking repugnican hypocrite who called for the removal of President Clinton when he was caught!

In a strange twist, South Carolina's Governor Mark Sanford (R) not only goes AWOL from his state position as Governor, but also from his wife and family to romp and roll with a woman from Argentina.

Yet, through it all,
his marriage is "safe" (at least for now that is) and protected against us queers from ever causing any confusion as to what marriage is truly about...

As I sit here and try to figure this all out as well as our next move for equality, I wonder as to when there will truly be "protection" of the institution of marriage for all of us, not just those "privileged" few hypocrites...

A Cherished Dream And Sacred Right

The Ultimate Sacrifice For Freedom

Since the beginning of repression, there's been the need and fight for freedom.

Freedom, that word that knows no language, cultural or political boundaries has once again claimed it's casualty. This time, a young woman in Iran known by the name of "Neda," Farsi for the voice of the call.

Whether it be the greatest US President, Abraham Lincoln, the militaries fighting against the evil oppressors, Dr. Martin Luther King, Harvey Milk, Medgar Evers or all the other freedom fighters of the world, people will continue fighting and dying for that great reward...

FREEDOM to be me.

FREEDOM to live my life.

FREEDOM from hatred.

FREEDOM from oppression.

FREEDOM from discrimination.

FREEDOM to love.

And one day, FREEDOM to marry...

Never give up the fight for freedom!

"Out, Out, Out You Gay Employees!"

Homophobic Sues To Get Names Of LGBT City Workers Released
View Image

A Seattle City Light Employee, who has consistently gone after various groups for minority rights issues and who just can't find his true identity, has sued and won a case demanding the names of LGBT city employees...

58 year old Philip Irvin, the city employee and "Christian Caucasian with no African American Blood (he was a dues paying member of the City Light black Employees Association)," had demanded that under the equal treatment of the law, he had the right to know the what's and who's of the city group since he felt he was being excluded from such group.

If that wasn't enough, he also sued for sign in sheet names and minutes of the meetings.

It never ceases to amaze me how these crackpots use the legal system to cause harm to others and now the possible impact it could have on many of the LGBT employees whom may not have been out to family, friends or other employees.

May we all one day live without the "security" of the closets, and nut jobs like the Philip Irvins of the world, and other hate mongers who want nothing more than for us to go away because we wont,
AT LEAST I WILL NOT!

Another Stand For Christian Conservatives And Their "Sanctity Of Marriage"

Do As I Say, Not As I Do!

Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev. speaks at a news conference at the Lloyd D. George

Hypocrite, you fucking hypocrite!

Senator John Ensign (R) of Nevada, has been caught with his hypocritical "Christian" hands in the cookie jar
after admitting to an extra marital affair with an ex staffer.

"Last year I had an affair. I violated the vows of my marriage. It is the worst thing I have ever done in my life," Ensign said Tuesday in a hastily arranged news conference.

It is also believed this was not his first affair. GOP, "protecting the sanctity of marriage" by denying us our civil rights and standing up for "traditional marriage" with a little action on the side...

What do we want, marriage equality, when do we want it, now!

Yet Another Barring Of Access In Crisis

Enough is Fucking Enough!!!

View Image

I am fucking mad and if you are part of the LGBT Community or a believer in equality, civil rights or just human compassion, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

In yet another situation of being denied access to a loved one in times of an emergency, a lesbian couple in Fresno, California has been caused unnecessary emotional and physical pain by the bigots and morons entrusted with her care from the EMT's to the ER
(recently, another lesbian couple from Florida went threw such horrible agony as the one partner died alone in her hospital bed because the hospital denied them access to each other).

What the he!! is going on here, THIS IS AMERICA FOR FUCKING CRYING OUT LOUD! When will this stop????

If you are furious about this situation (and you should be because this could be you next!) as I am, you will contact the hospital Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, California and tell them that there policy is just wrong in discriminating against a loving couple and keeping them from each other in a potentially life and death situation.

Contact your state legislators as well as President Obama and tell them that we too are Americans and that we need the discrimination and hatred to stop.
TAKE A STAND AND SAY "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!"

What The F*** "Protecting Taxpayer's Rights?"

Washington, You Have Done Us A Great Injustice!

If you've been following the recent LGBT news like I have regarding the case of Arthur Smelt & Christopher Hammer, who were challenging the 96' federal "DOMA" law, you would be very angry like I am! You would be saying "what the F***!!!!!!) Obama, what the f*** are you doing? How can you allow this to happen especially being one of your campaign promises to our community was for fairness and equality for all families...

The recent decision to dismiss the lawsuit under support of Washington is yet another black eye of injustice in America.

U.S. Department of Justice lawyers argued that the act — known informally as DOMA — is constitutional and contended that awarding federal marriage benefits to gays would infringe on the rights of taxpayers in the 30 states that specifically prohibit same-sex marriages.

RIGHTS OF TAXPAYERS? WHAT ARE WE???????????????????? Why are we continuing to pay taxes if we are not equal? Aren't the "taxpayers" infringing on our rights since they receive services that we cannot receive BUT HAVE TO PAY FOR?

Write to Washington DC and demand that Obama do the right thing because the time is NOW!

Big Splash Against Gay Family

"I Don't See A Family," No Family Rate For You.

Gay couple, kids denied family rate at pool

In yet another travesty of injustice towards our community, a family from Pocatello, Idaho was denied the family rate plan because they did not "fit the definition of a family in Idaho" according to the homophobic director, Mark Lowe of the Lava Hot Springs Association.

He went on to say, "The state does not recognize gay or lesbian marriages and defines a family as 1 male and 1 female and children."

The ironic part is that the family decided to accept his definition of a "family" and pay the rate for individual children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, this couple feeds, clothes, loves and tucks them into bed at night but still they are not a family?

After checking their "family" policy as of June 1oth, here is what I found:

FAMILY DISCOUNT PASS POLICY
Intent: The family discount is intended to help families afford the day out at a swimming pool or hot pool facility that they may not otherwise be able to afford. It is also intended to increase attendance at the facilities midweek when business is typically slower. Therefore, the discount is available Monday-Thursday except major holidays – New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.

Eligibility: In order to be as consistent as possible, families that are eligible for the discount are considered to be parents and children. The children must be dependant children of the parent, or parents, present at the time of entry, and under the age of 18.

For the purpose of this discount, parent is defined as the person who has long-term legal responsibility for the dependant children.

Discussion: The children need not be biological offspring of the legally responsible adult(s). Adopted children and foster children are considered part of the family so long as the stipulations listed above are met. Parents are defined as those adults who are either legally obligated to the care of the dependant children or are married to the adult who is the parent of the dependant children. Single parents and their children are eligible for the discount.

Adults who are raising their siblings are eligible for the discount.

Make your voice heard and send a message to Mr "family man" Mark Lowe and tell him "Love Makes A Family," not the state or the Lava Hot Springs Pool Association!

At A Cost To Our Community, Politics As Usual...

Obama's "Promise" To Our Community, What?

Former Army National Guard Lt. Dan Choi, an Arabic-speaking specialist dismissed

Washington DC - With another round of bigotry and nonsense at the legal levels, another setback was had today as the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear a challenge to the validity of DADT since being thrown out of a Federal Appeals Court earlier.

With Barack Obama nicely situated at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, the count for much needed and skilled US Service members being discharged since you were elected under the legal discriminative rule of DADT stands at 238...

Mr. President, why are you not addressing the issues that were supposedly near and dear to you when you were seeking the high office like equality and the ending of DADT? Why is it you are so concerned about overseas issues and religion now and not more of the domestic issues you said you would address? When, when will you make it a priorty? Isn't the military supposed to be a "Military of One?"

We need serious change Mr. President, for in America the words of the greatest U.S. President ring loud and clear, "A House Divided Cannot Stand!" - Abraham Lincoln... End the discrimination and unite!

I ? Take ? To Be Your...

I Refuse To Tell You Who I am Until After The Wedding!

View Image

Congratulations, you may both kiss and get to know each other's names!

A strange new show by Fox (the ones who bring you that obnoxious "fair and balanced" program), promoting arranged weddings for heterosexuals is quite amusing and something only they can do and approve.

Take "our" love, we get to know each other, fall in love and wish to marry but are denied in most states but an arranged marriage between 2 strangers like 1 man and 1 woman can do it!

Oh how heterosexual couples never cease to amaze me in their quest for recognition and "protections" of that oh so "special" institution called marriage...

Bring Your Gun To Church Day And Be Blessed!

We Can't Have Our Love But Thou Can Have A Gun In Church...

Ken Pagano, pastor of New Bethel Church in Louisville, Kentucky, talks,

Louisville Kentucky - The New Bethel Church is a welcoming place to more than just it's parishioners as the message is "celebrate the 4th of July and the Second Amendment!"

"Welcome Smith & Wesson, Colt, Browning, Remington, Taurus and all the other bulleted killing devices! You are welcome here! Hallelujah!!!!
"

Hey there "freedom fighter," what about the 1st Amendment and some of the core principles of the US Constitution of "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness?"

Isn't there something in that book you preach from saying "thou shall not kill?" What is a gun designed to do? Why not work more on spreading love and tolerance of others and maybe, just maybe there would be a little less need to bring a gun to church!

An ad in the church says there will be a handgun raffle, patriotic music and handgun safety classes!

"Were just going to celebrate the upcoming theme of the birth of our nation" says Pastor Ken Pagano who further went on to say "we're not ashamed to say there was a strong belief in G-d and firearms - without that, this country wouldn't be here."

With recent church shootings of which he condemned, highlight the need to promote safe gun ownership. The "bring your gun to church day!" was planned months before the killing of the late term abortion provider Dr. Tiller at a Wichita church
.

Try spreading a message of love because the world could sure use more of it Pastor!

"Secrets Revealed" For Full LGBT Equality!

Take Out Your Pencils And Paper!

In a recent and interesting discussion with someone I know, some pretty shocking secrets were revealed to me in why the gay community is not advancing much...

"The gay rights movement is too loud and radical!" We need to tone down our voices and learn to stop shouting (possibly due to how we are treated?) because the "other side" does not do that...

"Does anyone know if this is true?!"

Now, raise your hand if you can tell me if the following groups or individuals are considered radical, loud, murderous, hateful and obnoxious towards our community? - AFA, Russell Arthur Henderson/Aaron James Mckinney - (Matthew Shepard murder, Wyoming), Reverend Fred Phelps - (Westboro Baptist Church), NYC Police Department - (Stonewall), JDF, American Vision, Traditional Values Coalition, Odium Books, Black Radical Congress, G-d Hates Fags, Washington Values Alliance, Allen Andrade - (Angie Zapata murder, Colorado), Dwight DeLee - (Lateshia Green murder, Syracuse, NY), Police - (Duanna Johnson murder, Tennessee), Ronnie Robertson (Beating at bar, Ohio), Humberto Salvador, Josue Gonzalez, and 2 other boys who are under age - (gang rape/carjacking lesbian, California), Long Island Gay Youth Center - (thousands of dollars in damage from vandalism), Lesbian's car vandalized - (rainbow sticker causes vandalism of hate words "fag" and "UR Gay" spray painted on car, New York)...

These "gentle othersiders" who continue their messages of hate and bigotry are not what I consider people you could sit down with and have a dialogue about equal rights and no more hate/violence with.

"What about all those men who dressed up in women's clothings and went to the church to disturb those praying?"

I went on to mention that we as a community do not go around doing things such as that, unlike the Reverend Fred Phelps, who pickets at the funerals of fallen US Soldiers shouting anti gay words...

What do you think? Do we need to continue "shouting" and making our voices heard?

Or...

Do we need to go back to "civilized" ways like asking the nice radical right and those that believe we are sick and perverted to just listen to us?

I know what I have to do, do you?

The Beauty Of New Hampshire As Usual!

A Bright New Day With Skies Still Above New Hampshire...

News & Events

As I sit here thinking about yesterday's wonderful news for our New Hampshire LGBT community (and wondering when the good ol' folks up in Albany will get off their asses and pass marriage equality in New York), I hear nothing on CNN (truly fair and balanced) or other major news agencies of a "stay indoors alert" or "if heading out, wear your hard helmet," for their is a strong possibility of the sky falling over New Hampshire.

In fact, after a quick "Google" of the weather in New Hampshire, it turns out it's a cool and partly cloudy day...

People are going about their business as usual (accept for some of those religious right who are pondering what their next course of action is against "those liberal, anti gun, sick and perverted homosexuals" and trying to overturn what is right and fair) like heading off to work, school, shopping or celebrating the joyous right of marriage equality...

Yep, just another usual day of caring for the family, worrying about paying some bills, health care, possible vacation, retirement.. Accept now, everyone can look forward to another "usual day" in New Hampshire!

So go ahead my queer brothers and sister of the Granite State, pop that bottle of bubbly and celebrate! Here's hoping you find peace joy and happiness and that perfect someone to fill your heart and home with plenty of love, LEGALLY!!!

And New Hampshire Makes 6!

Love Makes A Family "Legally" In New Hampshire!

New Hampshire House Approves Revised Gay Marriage Bill

Manchester, New Hampshire - Governor John Lynch (D) signs the revised marriage equality bill into law making the the Granite State the 6th state to do the right thing by recognizing and protecting all of it's families.

The bill which had passed prior by the House and Senate had been vetoed by the governor due to it lacking in "protections" for religious institutions.

Even though this bill is a victory for New Hampshire's LGBT, let it also be a reminder of how strong and dedicated we must be in continuing the fight for our civil rights and liberties because overall, the fight is far from over!

Marriage Equality for New Hampshire will officially begin January 1st, 2010.

A March On Washington, Is It Time?

Angry Voices Fire "Shot Heard Round The World"

With the continued anger building in the American LGBT community (and around the world) due to the recent decision of the California Supreme Court in upholding Proposition 8, pressure is mounting for what many are saying is the perfect opportunity and time to be heard.

But, is it time...

With the numerous issues currently facing the country from jobs, housing, corporate bankruptcy, California Looking to reinstating marriage equality in 2010 to Maine's concentration of resources for a fight against a possible upcoming ballot referendum. Are we ready or not?

I say "YES!"

You must never let them see you weak or exausted and to tired to go on for we must never back down from the fight for equality because freedom is not free, it comes at a cost and because of that cost, believe you-me, this is truly the fight of our lives!!!!!!!!!!

Stand tall, stand proud and together we will shout out loud, "EQUALITY NOW!"

Wake up, damn it, the time is now!

New Hampshire Moves Closer To Marriage Equality

With Some Wording Fix, New Hampshire Could Become The 6th...

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch, left,...

Concord, New Hampshire - After some revisions to add "protections" for religion groups, the state Senate sent the bill off on it's way to the House where if it passes, it will receive further scrutinizing by Governor John Lynch (D) before putting his pen to it or the big ol' stamp of denial "VETO!"

Governor Lynch, it is time for you to work for and protect the civil rights of all citizens of your great state that bear's the motto: "Live Free Or Die"

They must be more than words so as to represent everyone and not just the "privileged heterosexuals and religious groups!"

It is ok for you and others to have their feelings and beliefs on what marriage "should be" BUT IT SHOULD NEVER BE WRITTEN INTO LAW OR DONE IN A WAY TO DENY OTHERS THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES!

June Declared (Stonewall 40) LGBT Pride Month!

Equality Next Mr. President!

President Barack Obama

Washington, DC - President Barack Obama in his "support" (I use the word lightly for I am still skeptical of his "support" of our community since his election promises of breaking down the walls of inequality and discrimination) of the LGBT Community becomes the second president to sign the LGBT Declaration.

The White House Office of the Press Secretary
For Immediate Release
June 1, 2009

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION:

Forty years ago, patrons and supporters of the Stonewall Inn in New York City resisted police harassment that had become all too common for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Out of this resistance, the LGBT rights movement in America was born. During LGBT Pride Month, we commemorate the events of June 1969 and commit to achieving equal justice under law for LGBT Americans.

LGBT Americans have made, and continue to make, great and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the fabric of American society. There are many well-respected LGBT leaders in all professional fields, including the arts and business communities. LGBT Americans also mobilized the Nation to respond to the domestic HIV/AIDS epidemic and have played a vital role in broadening this country’s response to the HIV pandemic.

Due in no small part to the determination and dedication of the LGBT rights movement, more LGBT Americans are living their lives openly today than ever before. I am proud to be the first President to appoint openly LGBT candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the first 100 days of an Administration. These individuals embody the best qualities we seek in public servants, and across my Administration — in both the White House and the Federal agencies — openly LGBT employees are doing their jobs with distinction and professionalism.

Don't Give Up!

The Fight For Equality Was Never Meant To Be Easy.

http://www.geocities.com/WestHollywood/1606/flag.gif

To fight for something we believe in, there will always be the setbacks like the recent decision of the California Supreme Court to uphold Proposition 8, Proposition 2 in Florida to the various other bigoted and hateful restrictions around America.

What did I just say? "America?" Yes, the Country where the Statue Of Liberty Stands Proudly with the words "Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be FREE"

The Country where a very beloved and cherished document holds the words "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

The Country where these words "With Liberty And Justice For All" are used when pledging allegiance to the flag.

The Country where a man by the name of Dr. Martin Luther King, a devoted fighter for equality died by an assassins bullet for the cause.

The Country where so many millions fought and died around the world protecting America's "core values and principles" of freedom and liberty.

To those who are tired, fed up and ready to give in to those who say we are nothing more than sick and demented individuals who need help, I say this...

Take not a moment to long from the fight for if you should, the only winners will be for anti equality and the hateful right!

So hurry up back and join me. I can't do it without you for together, you and me, one day I promise we will be free!
