Amazon's "Oops" Corrected

Amazon Restores Sales Ratings

amazon.com

New York - The missing sales numbers are returning back to Amazon.

After 2 days of removing the sales ranks of LGBT books caused by the "glitch," the numbers have returned.

Some authors who's rankings were dropped have posted messages to Amazon saying their books had been categorized as adult and were removed from the best selling lists and searches.

Amazon has yet to comment on the messages but called the deletions an "embarrassing and ham-fisted cataloging error" and said there would be new measures implemented to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the future.

Sounds like someone at Amazon has a lot of explaining to do and that the gay community should not fully accept the "ham-fisted cataloging error" excuse.

Looks like the thousands of messages sent around the web and to Amazon has caused them stand up and take notice in that the gay community will not accept this form of bigotry...
