Senate Committee Rejects Marriage Equality
Concord, New Hampshire - The state's Judiciary Committee recommends the Legislature reject marriage equality.
The committee voted 3/2 against a recent passage of a marriage equality bill by the House. Committee Chair Deborah Reynolds (D), said she does not feel New Hampshire is "ready" for marriage equality.
The Republicans who voted against it said marriage was "created and defined by G-d as the union between 1 man and 1 woman."
Send a strong message or call (603)271-2111 the New Hampshire Senate Committee regarding the fairness for all New Hampshire families and that they need to respect the separation of Church/State in their decisions denying people of their civil rights/liberties.
