We at LGBT Minute say "yes to gay marriage!"
As supporters of same-sex marriage, we urge all Americans to embrace love and tolerance by signing this petition, which will be presented to the U.S. Congress to show citizen support for the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
President Barack Obama, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and even the author of DOMA have called for its repeal. Now is the time to act, but it'll take strength in numbers to focus our Congress members' attention on this issue. Only unified, citizen-based action will give the LGBT voice in Washington the strength to overcome our opponents and overturn DOMA.
