Office Of The People Used To Deny Civil Liberties/Rights

Senator Diaz To Hold Anti Equality Rally

New York - Senator/minister Ruben Diaz (D) has made it clear all along that he is opposed to marriage equality in the state but has taken his message 1 step further by holding an "emergency summit" to consider the next steps/strategies for fighting any passage of a marriage equality bill in New York.

Recently, in his strict criticism of Governor David Paterson's call for a vote on the bill, Diaz said that it was "ridiculous," particularly given the fact that Archbishop Timothy Dolan was being installed.

Why did Diaz become involved in state politics? How can he be for New Yorkers when he uses his religion to deny some the equal protections/rights that others take for granted?

Also to be noted is that Diaz is planning an "anti equality rally" for May.

Contact - Senator Diaz (D) or call (518)455-2511 and tell him he should not be using the office of the people to deny others their rights/liberties!

Standing up (ok, sitting down) for our rights!

Keep a smile on your face and love in your heart
