Joann Prinzivalli for Westchester County Legislator - District 8
New York - Joann Prinzivalli is seeking designation as the Democratic Party Candidate for Westchester County Legislator - representing District 8.
District 8 includes the Villages of Sleepy Hollow (in the Town of Mount Pleasant), Tarrytown and Elmsford (in the Town of Greenburgh), parts of the unincorporated Town of Greenburgh (North Elmsford and Fairview), and parts of the City of White Plains.
"I have interviewed with the appropriate Democratic committees in Greenburgh and White Plains," said Joann and am hoping that the various municipal committees will endorse a single candidate - if I am not that candidate I will support the candidate endorsed by the party. If there is no endorsement, or no agreement among the municipal committes as to a single candidate, I will participate in a primary.
Volunteers will be needed to help with obtaining petition signatures - the political calendar provides that petition-gathering can take place between June 9th and July 16th, with completed petitions to be filed between July 13th and 16th.
We will also need volunteers to help plan fundraising events. A political campaign requires money so that we can get the word out and encourage people to vote.
